Lawrence at Monmouth (Monmouth, Ill.)
Monmouth 1 (2-10-1, 1-4-1), Lawrence 1 (OT)
All the scoring took place in the first half of a 1-1 tie with
Lawrence. After the Vikings slipped one past Owen Robinson in the
40th minute, Andy Sheller took a Daniel Medina corner kick
and headed it in for the tying goal in the 43rd minute. Neither team
could mount much of an attack in the second half or overtime.

in Decatur. The Big Blue then went on a scoring binge, finding the back
of the net three times in the next 27 minutes to take a 3-1 lead at
halftime. Martinez, who took a pass from Lucas Knox and Josh
Del Valle for his first half score, returned the favor in the second
half, feeding Knox for a goal in the 77th minute, but the Scots could
get no closer. Monmouth's defense stiffened in the second half, allowing

All that hard work finally paid off for Monmouth in a 1-0 win over Knox.
It's not often a goalkeeper scores points, but that's just what Owen
Robinson did on the Scots' only score. Josh Del Valle took a
pass from Lucas Knox following Robinson's punt in the 51st minute
to break a three-match scoring drought for the Scots who opened
conference play with a win over the Prairie Fire for the second time in
three years. The Scots outshot the Fire 26-3 and put 15 of their

just 1:30 left in the second overtime to pull out the win on Monmouth's
home turf. Monmouth outshot the Rams 34-8, but Cornell made the most of
their limited opportunities, scoring just before halftime after a
scramble in front of the net. The Scots had chances in overtime, but
