Robinson is MWC Performer of the Week

Ill. –
Monmouth College senior Drew Robinson (St. Charles, Ill./North) ran
her hitting streak to eight games last week and was rewarded with
the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week honor in softball.
Playing a schedule that included two Top 25 teams, Robinson kept
her average at a lofty .509 with a 10-for-20 performance over the
set of three doubleheaders. The left-handed-hitting outfielder
increased her stolen base mark to nine-for-nine and is now just five
steals from the Scots’ career record. In a doubleheader sweep of
Rose-Hulman Sunday, the speedy senior added five hits and added to
her team-leading 15 runs, scoring four in the wins over the
Engineers.
A public relations major, Robison is the daughter of Roy and
Debra Robinson of St. Charles.
