 MONMOUTH,
Ill. – Monmouth College senior righthander Dan Dunn (Mapleton,
Ill./Illini Bluffs) is on a roll and picked up his third Midwest
Conference Pitcher of the Week honor this season.
Dunn allowed five hits and struck out five in a 3-2 win over
conference foe Illinois College last Saturday. He is 2-0 in
conference play, 5-2 overall, with an ERA of 2.70. His 46 strikeouts
and five wins lead the league. Opponents are hitting a meager .224
against Dunn this season.
A physical education major, Dunn is the son of Teri Dunn of Mapleton
and Dennis Dunn of Hanna City.
