MONMOUTH, Ill. –Monmouth College senior hitter Molly Pendergrass (Galesburg, Ill./HS) led the Fighting Scots to a 3-0 week and earned this week’s Midwest Conference Performer of the Week honor in volleyball.

Pendergrass starred for Monmouth on the court, posting kill totals of 13, 16 and 22 in wins over Augustana, Eureka and Lake Forest, respectively. For the week, she hit .331and added five total blocks.

Monmouth’s victory over Lake Forest Saturday stretched the Scots’ win streak to six games and moved the team into a tie with the Foresters for the top spot in the MWC South Division.

An accounting/business major, Pendergrass is the daughter of Mike and Julie Pendergrass of Galesburg.
