MC’s Welty honored by Midwest Conference

Anthony WeltyMONMOUTH, Ill. - Monmouth College’s Anthony Welty (Dixon, Ill./Newman Catholic) has been tabbed the Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week.

The sophomore trimmed nearly two minutes off his time from his last 8K race to finish in 11th place at the Grinnell College Les Duke Invitational. Welty toured the course in 26:55.
