1995 Men's Outdoor Track and Field The Monmouth Scots Men Track and Field team picked up from where they left off from last year in the '95 season. Freshman David Thompson qualified for the NCAA Outdoor National Championship Meet, held at Carleton College in Carleton, MN. Thompson, who was an All-American indoors, earned an outdoor Nationals spot with a jump of 23'11". Thompson's leap bested the automatic standard and assures the freshman of another shot at the national title. The Scots relay team dominated the field and swept to victory for the 6th consecutive season. Senior Tim Malley, Thompson, and sophomore Aaron Venters were double winners for the men's team while several other men won individual titles. Phil Lark won the high jump and freshman Jim Hardesty bested the NCAA men's provisional qualifying distance with a toss of 154'11".
